Are you better at convincing your friends to try a certain tea than the people paid to do it? Do you have a drawer in your desk at work with not only a few varieties of tea bags but also several loose leaf teas, two or more mugs and multiple infusers?
If so, you might be a tea nerd.
But you’re in good company. Here at nerdiTEA, we’re nerdy about tea. (No, seriously. It’s actually kind of frightening how nerdy we can be.)
We think of tea as some connoisseurs think of wine. We can pick out the aromas, aftertastes, colors, acids… the whole package. We can tell if that flavored green tea has a sencha base… without looking at the label. And you better believe we can tell the difference between a roasted oolong and a jade oolong.
And if you’re not a tea nerd, that’s okay. We’ll help you along. 
Our mission is to share tea with the Western world, to make it as integral a part of daily life in the US as it is in places like China, Japan and India, through exploring the teas offered by excellent tea vendors, educating proper selection and brewing techniques and subjecting ourselves to a wide variety of teas so that our readers don’t have to in order to find their favorite cups.
